About Jennifer

I am an artist focusing on my memories of the coastal ecosystems and marine biome from growing up in Florida. I attended Savannah College of Art and Design, but had already found an obsession with travel from my modeling opportunities. I ultimately decided to model and travel full time. I was so lucky to live everywhere from Paris to Shanghai. After almost a decade, I missed my family and friends, I moved back stateside. While working in NYC, I met my husband (who is from NY) and never left.

After trying on a few careers, the pandemic hit and gave me the opportunity to get back to painting. I primarily use hard edge painting techniques to create landscapes and wildlife. I use acrylic paint, gouache, interior paint, wood panels, and stretched canvas. My inspiration comes from my memories and books I used to identify everything we came across while diving, snorkeling, and fishing growing up. I create images of our natural world in a hyper natural way. It's an evocation of the beauty of our planet amidst a worsening climate crisis.
